Welcome to The Forest Tree Nursery . This Fees Policy outlines our charges for childcare services, how payments are handled, and important information regarding funding and notice periods. By enrolling your child, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

Session Fees

Our fees are charged per session, and each session runs for.

Morning Sessions:

  • 8:00 am to 1:00 pm £48
  • Afternoon Session: 12:30pm to 5:30 pm £48
  • Full Day Session: 7:30 am to 5:30 pm £78
  • Additional hour  £10
  • Stretched Hours £25

We accept government-funded childcare for eligible children. The funding applies as follows:

15-hour entitlement: 3 am or 3 pm sessions.

30-hour entitlement:

  • 3 full days 38 weeks a year term time only
  • 2.5 days a week over 51 weeks a year. We will use 22.5 hrs a week of government-funded and charge £25 for the remaining 2.5 hours.
  • We will bank 7.5 hours of the govemment funding per week to treach the funding over the 51 weeks a year.
  • Parents must provide proof of eligibility for funding. Funded hours cannot be carried over unless agreed in advance.

Additional Charges

  • Additional charges may apply for the following:
  • Late collection fees: £5 for every 5 minutes
  • Extra sessions outside of normal booking: £10 per hour
  • Special activities or trips:
  • Parents will be informed in advance.
  • All additional charges will be invoiced separately.

Nursery snacks and meals

  • Breakfast 50p
  • Snack 50p
  • Lunch £3.00
  • High Tea £1.00

If you wish to bring a packed Lunch for your child you must follow the nurseries  Healthy eating policy

Payments & Invoicing

  • Invoices are issued monthly and are payable within 7 days of the invoice date.
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, card payment,
  • Non-payment may result in suspension of childcare services until the account is cleared.

Notice Periods

  • A minimum of  4 weeks written notice is required to reduce or withdraw sessions.
  • Fees remain payable during the notice period, including funded hours if applicable.

Fees Reviews

Fees are reviewed annually and may be adjusted to reflect inflation, operational costs, or changes in regulations. Parents will be given at least  3 month notice of any fee changes.

Funding Disclaimer

Government-funded childcare entitlements are subject to eligibility criteria. The Forest Tree Nursery cannot guarantee availability of funded hours and reserves the right to withdraw funding support if eligibility criteria are not met.
